Aulaa laka fa aulaa....

"Woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! "And then (again) woe to you!" Verse 34

My no 1 son recited the above ayah while he was leading the Isya' solat. "Surah Apa tuh?" . "Al Qiyamah"."Oooo...Ayat keberapa?"."Muka surat sebelah..". "Oooooo...". It so happened he memorised the surah not by the verse number but on which page the verse it located...hmmm.. photographic memory? It brings back memories of the years gone by when my father (AL Fatihah to him) used to recite over and over again the verse n a few others that followed:

Again, woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you! Verse 35
Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allâh) on him]? Verse 36
Was he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge of semen) poured forth? Verse 37
Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allâh) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion. Verse 38.
And made him in two sexes, male and female. Verse 39.
Is not He (Allâh Who does that), Able to give life to the dead? (Yes! He is Able to do all things). Verse 40.
